Storms and Hail!

 

Stormy weather! Weather in Washington in June can be very unpredictable – bright cheerful blue skies or really really dark threatening grey skies…

Washington is known for lots of rain — and it showed up in June — Dark blue skies proclaimed the coming rain.  If this had been in Texas, I would have been bracing for a tornado any second!   The dark blue skies yielded to grey skies which produced hail and rain.

I did not really want to see the rain come.  I had hiking to do — which is best done when there are bright blue brilliant skies.  However — the rain was needed to produce the lush green forests of Washington — and just look at the beauty these clouds produced…

When life’s storms come into your life — what scriptures help you to weather these storms?

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
