Along the Way – An Adventure in Paradise!

GREEN!  My eyes were feasting on the green just outside the window!  I stepped outside onto the roof top deck of the home of my friends Marianne and Becki.  They had rescued me in the wee hours of the morning from the Portland, OR, airport and brought me to their house to stay overnight – a stopover on my way to Mount St. Helens.

What a view from this rooftop!
A great view from the rooftop!

Their house, a church in its past history, was an adventure to explore with creative nooks and crannies and fun artwork.

Adventure waits here!

Hiking the property with Marianne, we came across a canoe — just waiting for a paddler!

Guarding the overturned canoe this fluffy creature waited to spring into action..

What a beautiful place -  A paradise!  Thank you Marianne, Becki and family for taking in a Texas traveler on her way to Mount St. Helens!

How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all;  the earth is full of your creatures.                Psalms 104:24
