An Amish Country Adventure

A few weeks ago I was asked to write an article for The Northeast Texan Newspaper. So – I wrote about an adventure that was WAY OUT OF MY LEAGUE!  I was super surprised by it!  Here’s the article…

An Amish Country Adventure

Hiking up a rugged mountain that’s rumbling with magma in its belly –  Being sucked into quicksand and barely escaping with your life – Feeling the spray of a geyser after it belches into the sky – NOW THAT’S ADVENTURE!

It was time for our vacation and I was super excited…until I discovered where we were going.  It was my husband’s turn to pick our vacation, and he wanted to visit Amish country in Holmes County Ohio.  SERIOUSLY?  You have got to be kidding….
